Alright chummers, here’s the lowdown on Die Schädlinge if you haven't heard the rumors. I've tangled with them a couple of times, and let me tell you: these freaks aren’t just another Berlin street gang. They’re something else. Something worse.
They seem to be running a cyberdoc operation. They’ve got the cheap, dirty stuff. If you don’t mind where it came from or who it used to be attached to, you can save some serious nuyen. Corpses get stripped and parted out. Prices get slashed in half, but the risk of glitchy old tech or ghost codes is real. Heard rumors of muscle tissue grown in vats. They’ll spike your strength and tweak your nerves – if you survive the process. Claws, extra arms, messing with your senses, Die Schädlinge can hook you up, but you better pay in more than just creds.
Word is they number around 100-150. But it’s always shifting, you never really know who’s ‘alive’ or who’s… well, ‘spare parts.’
Had a buddy who swapped out his entire spine through these psychos. Barely recognized him after. Still, he moves like a ghost now, if you ignore the twitching.

I’ve patched up folks who came limping out of their ‘clinics.’ Let’s just say the craftsmanship is… creative. If you’re desperate, they’ll fix you up, but there's no guarantee they won’t remove something else for ‘spare parts.’
Besides, I had a runner pay them for a crate of monofilament whips once. We never got to use them, got ambushed by their own re-sellers. Watch your back if you deal with them, seriously.

Die Schädlinge’s approach to firearms is basically: if it causes pain, it’s good enough. I’ve tested some of their Full Auto conversions. They jam half the time, but when they work, you feel like a one-man warzone.
Gotta say, some folks walk out with superhuman resilience, but they’re not entirely ‘human’ after. The things I’ve seen in The Hive would keep you up nights.

I tried to get some nerve blockers from them. post-crash was migraines that made me want to punch through walls. not that it stopped me from hooking up again pain isn’t a big deal if you want that edge.

These psychos also dabble in every illegal service under the sun. If you need something done dirty and final, they’ll do it...just don’t expect clean results. They’ll wipe someone off the map. Permanently. Body disposal included. They’ve always got a fresh supply on ice. dunno where it comes from, best not to ask. Blowing up labs, dumping bodies, spreading terror. Subtle is not in their dictionary. Operate in their turf, get “protection.” But you owe them, big time…
It's a drekbotch of good old gangs mixed with cyberdrek of today.

Wrecked industrial blocks, booby traps, old landmines, buildings turned chop-shops, flooded subways, operating rooms lit by flickering bulbs, piles of bodies and cybernetic scraps… Need I say more?
